This week, the lesson was entitled “Jesus Heals a Paralytic,” and it focused on helping students understand that Jesus not only has the power to heal, but also the power to forgive sins. Students were taught that we were dead in our sins, but God chose to give us life through Jesus’ death on the cross. They were challenged to express thanks and praise to God for bringing them from death to life. We looked at the following Scripture passages:

At Bear Creek Baptist Church, we believe that our role in Children and Youth Ministry is to partner with parents in the teaching and discipleship of the gospel to their children. While this includes holding regular scheduled services, bible studies, and other events; we also want to help equip parents to continue the conversations we start. For this reason we will be uploading various resources (videos, devotionals, posts, etc...) to help in precisely that. We hope these resources will be a blessing to you and your family and that together we can impact the lives of the next generation for Christ.
