They told us everything about the way He would be born, who He would be, and even how He would die for us. Isaiah’s prophecies are probably the best known, and this week we looked at two that were very powerful. We really challenged our teenagers to imagine looking at these words as if they had never heard them before. How would they react if they heard a Messiah was going to die for them, before He even came to earth? Then we balanced this with looking at the New Testament words that helped us remember Christ calls us to Him. Our central focus was that we aren’t merely saved FROM sin but TO a Savior. We looked at the following Scripture passages:

At Bear Creek Baptist Church, we believe that our role in Children and Youth Ministry is to partner with parents in the teaching and discipleship of the gospel to their children. While this includes holding regular scheduled services, bible studies, and other events; we also want to help equip parents to continue the conversations we start. For this reason we will be uploading various resources (videos, devotionals, posts, etc...) to help in precisely that. We hope these resources will be a blessing to you and your family and that together we can impact the lives of the next generation for Christ.
