This week our lesson was about the last supper Jesus ate with His disciples. It focused on helping students understand what happened during this time and what it means to us. The Passover feast happened annually, and was an important celebration to the Jewish people. It symbolized their freedom from slavery and the reality that the angel of death literally passed over their homes. In this meal, Jesus helped His disciples understand that what He was about to do would atone for their sins and the sin of all mankind. His death and resurrection would bring freedom from sin and death forever. We looked at the following Scripture passages:

Unit 9-Lesson 4
Each week’s lesson is centered around a “brite* idea” and has three main goals. Each goal seeks to answer questions about God, People, and our Purpose. These questions are referred to as He (God), We (People), and Me (Purpose) questions.
This week's brite* idea was: Nothing is too hard for Jesus
Below is our weekly brite* parent page to help you continue discussing these this week at home.
At Bear Creek Baptist Church, we believe that our role in Children and Youth Ministry is to partner with parents in the teaching and discipleship of the gospel to their children. While this includes holding regular scheduled services, bible studies, and other events; we also want to help equip parents to continue the conversations we start. For this reason we will be uploading various resources (videos, devotionals, posts, etc...) to help in precisely that. We hope these resources will be a blessing to you and your family and that together we can impact the lives of the next generation for Christ.
