Unit 1-Lesson 4
Each week’s lesson is centered around a “brite* idea” and has three main goals. Each goal seeks to answer questions about God, People, and our Purpose. These questions are referred to as He (God), We (People), and Me (Purpose) questions.
This week's brite* idea was: Our actions matter to God.
Below is our weekly brite* parent page to help you continue discussing these this week at home.
This week’s lesson focused on Joseph and his brothers. We looked at how Joseph’s life was a part of God’s master plan to carry out the covenant promise handed down from Abraham, Isaac, and now to Joseph’s father, Jacob. Through the turbulent circumstances in Joseph’s life, we see that God redeems suffering, and turns our loss into gain. For those who follow Christ and trust His promises, we have hope in the midst of pain. We looked at the following Scripture passages:

At Bear Creek Baptist Church, we believe that our role in Children and Youth Ministry is to partner with parents in the teaching and discipleship of the gospel to their children. While this includes holding regular scheduled services, bible studies, and other events; we also want to help equip parents to continue the conversations we start. For this reason we will be uploading various resources (videos, devotionals, posts, etc...) to help in precisely that. We hope these resources will be a blessing to you and your family and that together we can impact the lives of the next generation for Christ.
